2026 Bundaberg Multicultural World Cup

The 2026 Bundaberg Multicultural World Cup is a free community event bringing families together through futsal, culture, food and connection. Held during NAIDOC Week, the event gives local players, families and community members a chance to take part in a fun day that celebrates both sport and multicultural community life in Bundaberg. Whether your family is keen to play, cheer from the sidelines, try something new, or simply enjoy the cultural activities on offer, this event is designed to be welcoming and community-focused.
The event will be held on Saturday 11 July 2026, from 9:30am to 3pm, at Shalom Catholic College, 9 Fitzgerald Street, Bundaberg. The futsal competition will take place at The Hangar and Indoor Sports Centre.
Futsal teams must register before the event and meet the minimum player requirements. All players will need to sign in on the day and complete the participation waiver. Players under 18 must be signed in by a parent or guardian. Registrations are open and close on Wednesday 8 July 2026 at 12:00pm.
Alongside the futsal competition, families can enjoy NAIDOC celebrations, a Welcome to Country, Smoking Ceremony, cultural displays, Indonesian performances, free Indonesian food, Indonesian art and craft activities, a Football Queensland come and try clinic, and yard games.
